1. Open the Steam app and log into your account. 2. At the bottom of the screen, tap the shield icon — this is the Steam Guard section. 3. In the opened section, tap the gear icon at the bottom right. 4. Then tap "Get Steam Guard Code". 5. A 6-digit Steam Guard code will appear on screen. This is the code you need to send for verification. Important: • The code is temporary and updates every ~30 seconds. • Only send the code, no need to confirm anything. • Do not tap "Approve Login" if the system asks specifically for a code.
💰What happens to Steam wallet balance when changing region?
If your Steam account already has funds (e.g. in RUB), they will be automatically converted to the new region's currency when changing region. When switching to China, the balance will be converted to yuan (CNY).

No, ping does not change. It depends only on: • the game server you choose (connects to the nearest one) • the quality of your internet connection

No, you don't need to disable Steam Guard. During the region change process, the system may request: • a Steam Guard code • or a backup code You simply provide it when asked — that's enough.
🌍Do I need a VPN to play Steam games?
No, VPN is not needed. After the region change, you can freely use Steam and play games without a VPN.
